Di. Chkanikov et al., DESOXYNIVALINE ROLE ON THE EARLY-STAGE OF FUSARIUM-GRAMINEARUM SCHWABE DEVELOPMENT, Mikologia i fitopatologia, 31(2), 1997, pp. 78-83
Aliquid medium was developed for the obtaining of conidia free from my
celium. This medium was unfavourable for DON and 3-acetyl-DON producti
on. It was determined that sporulation rate and biosynthesis of fusari
um-toxins correlated and could be regulated by the medium composition.
The media favourable for sporulation inhibited the production of toxi
ns. The toxins were not produced during the process of conidia germina
tion and at the initial stage of mycolium formation.
