An. Firsov et al., FORMATION OF ANISOTROPIC STRUCTURES IN A COMBUSTION WAVE SPREADING THROUGH LOW-GAS COMPOSITIONS, CHEMICAL PHYSICS REPORTS, 16(3), 1997, pp. 491-497
Studies of nonsteady burning of low-gas systems have demonstrated the
feasibility of synthesizing products of variable composition. A materi
al with microscopically anisotropic properties is formed. Anisotropy o
f the properties of combustion products is controlled by the direction
of flame front propagation and by dynamic characteristics of the burn
ing process.
