The results of dilatometric investigations in the temperature interval
110K-295K are presented for dimethylammonium gallium sulphate crystal
. The thermal expansion tensor refered to its principal axes was calcu
lated and fixed with respect to the crystallographic axes. The correla
tion between the structure and thermal expansion is discussed. The cal
culated values of spontaneous strains in the ferroelectric phase and o
f electrostriction coefficients are presented.
