Ferroelectric domain inversion in LiTaO3 single crystal has been achie ved at room temperature by applied external electric field. The polari zation inversion in the material exhibited different dynamic character istics under high field (E > 20 kV/mm) and low field (E < 20 kV/mm), r espectively.
