In. Geifman et al., EPR OF V4-CRYSTALS( IN LITHIUM (SODIUM) AND TITANIUM OXYPHOSPHATE ANDSUPERIONIC CONDUCTIVITY OF THESE SINGLE), Ferroelectrics, 192(1-4), 1997, pp. 87-91
X-band EPR spectra of V4+ in NaTiOPO4 (NTP) and alpha- and beta-modifi
cation of LiTiOPO4 (alpha-, beta-LTP respectively), dielectric charact
eristics (epsilon and tg delta) and conductivity or in NTP and alpha-L
TP were investigated within the wide temperature intervals. The consta
nts of spin-Hamiltonian (at room temperature) and the directions of ma
gnetic axes Z were determined. EPR and structural data were compared.
Models of V4+ paramagnetic centers in these single crystals were const
ructed. The anisotropy of epsilon, tg delta and a with maximum values
in the direction of a-axis for NTP and b-axis for alpha-LTP is observe
d. The high temperature superionic conductivity caused by the motion o
f Li+ ions in LTP and Na+ in NTP through the interstitial ''windows''
are suggested.
