The properties of crystalline solids are considered in the vicinity of special states of crystals (phase transformations including melting o r spinodal decomposition), Specific features of the behavior of crysta lline solids near melting line are considered. The most typical featur es are the fluctuations of vacancy concentration, strain, and stresses and increase in dislocation density with approaching the melting poin t. Some properties of anomalous substances (with negative slope of mel ting line p(T)) near the melting line are analyzed.
