Abstract
Raychem ZnO varistors exhibit superior performance characteristics as a consequence of a unique powder manufacturing process. This advanced powder process allows dopants to be distributed more uniformly at the grain boundaries. Comparative testing on competitive varistors demonst rates significant improvement in electrical performance such as lower leakage current, higher nonlinearity coefficient (alpha), and greater impulse stability.
