Abstract
The high-temperature phase transitions of KLiSO4 III<--708 K-->II<--94 9 K-->I are observed in-situ by polarisation microscopy and synchrotro n radiation white-beam topography. Phase II reveals three pseudohexago nal ferroelastic twins which deviate slightly from the hexagonal 120 d egrees angles. The domain arrangements differ considerably for the tra nsitions III-->II and I-->II.
