Abstract
The results of the investigation of elastooptic light diffraction on f erroelastic domains in Pb-3(PO4)(2) crystals are submitted in this pap er. The description of the orientation of the optical indicatrices in various domains at the ferroelastic phase transition with a change of symmetry (3) over bar m --> 2/m is made. The temperature and angular d ependencies of the diffraction efficiency are obtained. It is found th at most probably the change of the diffraction angle wih temperature i s connected to the change of the orientation of W'-domain walls.
