Abstract
PbTiO3 thin films have been grown on (100) NaCl by metalorganic chemic al vapor deposition. The films were characterized by means of transmis sion electron microscopy. It is shown that the films were highly c-axi s oriented with low-angle grain boundaries. Domain structures and epit axial mechanisms were also studied.
