Abstract
A rapid and simple method based on protoplast formation is presented t o prepare mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) from filamentous fungi. This proto col can be applied to prepare mtDNA from numerous strains in relativel y short time. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
