Abstract
Steaming treatment of AlMepO-beta at 500 degrees C induces transformat ion into AlMepO-alpha. This procedure easily gives pure AlMepO-alpha w ith a large adsorption capacity. A topotactic transformation mechanism through coordination of water molecules at an aluminum site is propos ed from comparison of both the framework structures.
