Abstract
Oscillation coupled with transport phenomena occurred in a liquid memb rane system containing polyoxyethylene p-nonylphenyl ether under the c oncentration gradient of ethyl alcohol. The solutes of ethyl alcohol a nd some alkaline metal salts were transported without oscillation but their transport rates were enhanced by the periodical convection synch ronous with the oscillation in this system.
