Abstract
A new species of phytoseiid mite, Phyllodromus trisetatus n.sp., colle cted in northeastern Brazil is described. Phyllodromus DeLeon, 1959 ha s been a monotypic genus known only from Florida, U.S.A. Neoseiulus gr acilis (Muma, 1962) is redescribed, based on the holotype and specimen s from northeastern Brazil.
