Abstract
With the aid of tissue print-immunoblotting (TPIB), the plum pox virus (PPV, sharka) could be detected in the two plum cultivars 'Hauszwetsc he, Typ Wolff and 'Fellenberg' after natural infection in the shoots, the petioles and different parts of the leaf blade. The virus was loca lized in the medullary rays and around conducting elements.
