Abstract
Alkylation of 4,5-dichloro-1-hydroxymethylpyridazin-6-one (1) with alp ha,omega-dibromoalkanes 2 or omega-bromoalkylpyridazin-6-ones 3 via a fragmentation of the retro-ene type under the two restricted condition s was investigated.
