Abstract
The IVA system can serve as a data-driven ''visualisation agent'' for simulation environments. Using event expressions defined in a signific ant-event language, it extracts data of interest from very large data sets, and can modify the Simulation based on detected events. A knowle dge-based data mapping process helps create the most useful type of vi sualization to intelligently display the retrieved data.
