Abstract
Aminopropyl-functionalised MCMs, prepared via a one-pot method, are fo und to be effective base catalysts for the Knoevenagel reaction, with significant improvements in terms of turnover number and solvent depen dence to the ostensibly similar aminopropylsilica.
