Abstract
In order to develop an on-line system to characterize fabric bending r igidity, four potential loop shapes are proposed, Loop shapes are chos en such that they can be formed under dynamic conditions. Results from theoretical models of these loops show the nature of the response of loop shapes to varying fabric bending behaviors. Two candidate loop sh apes are identified for further investigation under nonlinear and dyna mic conditions.
