Abstract
The first excited vibrational level of the nu(3) mode (Ca-C stretch) a nd the nu(3) + nu(5) (Ca-C-C bending) combination level in the CaCCH ( x) over tilde(2) Sigma(+) state have been rotationally analyzed. Data were obtained by dispersion of laser-induced fluorescence. The fundame ntal Ca-C stretch frequency was determined to be nu(3) = 397.400(2) cm (-1). The value of the l-type doubling constant, q(nu) = -0.2677(21) x 10(-3) cm(-1), for the nu(3) + nu(5) level is very close to that dete rmined previously for the nu(5) level. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
