Abstract
The magnetic susceptibility of the solid solutions (InSb)(1-x)(CdTe)(x ) has been investigated. It has been established that for the composit ion x = 0.05 a tenfold anomalous increase in diamagnetism is observed with decreasing temperature. This anomaly can be explained by the appe arance of metallic superconducting modifications in the volume of the crystal. (C) 1997 American Institute of Physics.
