Abstract
The effect of pressure on the Curie temperature T-c and the saturation magnetization sigma(s) at 4.2 K for Co2B are investigated. T-c decrea ses linearly with pressure. The value of theta T-c/theta p is -1.1 K k bar(-1). The spontaneous magnetization at 4.2 K is independent of pres sure. Furthermore, a positive spontaneous magnetostriction is observed only for the lattice parameter c. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A.
