Abstract
A general approach to the analysis of mechanical systems and structure s where large parameter variations occur is outlined. Aircraft and mis sile problems where there are acknowledged changes in the system model coefficients are identified. Performance variations associated with o perational conditions are investigated. Simple solutions to the determ inantal equation are proposed.
