MODELING OF CHANGES IN MEMBRANE PHYSICAL-PROPERTIES UPON BINDING OF SUBSTRATUM BY MEMBRANE-PROTEINS

Change in the physical properties of the bilayer membranes due to bind ing of the hormone molecules bg the membrane proteins are investigated , They are manifested substantially only for definite protein concentr ation and are determined bg the dimensions of the zones of the distort ed structure which are located near free receptor molecules as well as the receptor - substratum complex. The mechanisms of membrane and bio sensors sensitivity to hormones are discussed.
