Abstract
An unsteady analysis of a cylindrical solar water heater has been perf ormed. The physical parameters which govern the physical system are id entified. The governing equations have been solved using the fourth or der Runge-Kutta method for different values of the parameters. A good agreement between the numerical and experimental results has been obta ined. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
