Abstract
The reliability of groundwater flow numerical simulation is affected b y the quality of input data of aquifer physical parameters. This paper presents an uncertainty analysis based on a first order approximation of covariances. A two-dimensional steady state groundwater flow probl em is carried out by coupling the first-order uncertainty analysis wit h dual reciprocity boundary element method. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
