Abstract
This paper studies the prospectives of the application of reject heat from on-site combined heat and power generation as a function of a num ber of horticultural characteristics. Especially the consequences of C O2-dosing with exhaust gases is studied. All computations are made wit h a recently developed dynamic simulation model describing the energy consumption of a greenhouse and the performance of its heating system as a function of outside weather conditions and horticultural requests of growers in the Netherlands.
