Abstract
The adsorption isotherm and elution peaks for the ethoxylated isononyl phenol (the average degree of ethoxylation is 4)- n-decane-silica gel system were measured. The effective kinetic constant was determined on the length scale. The ratio of the constant to the average diameter o f the adsorbent grains was found to be 40. The algorithm offered for m odeling the elution peaks predicts well the experimental data, includi ng the dependences on the volume of the sample.
