Abstract
The reaction between ketones 1, amine hydrochlorides 2, and potassium isocyanoacetate (3) affords a series of dipeptide derivatives 5. The s tructure of compounds 5 is in agreement with their spectral data and i s confirmed by means of X-ray analysis of 5a.
