Abstract
The authors of this paper measured the methane and nitrous oxide fluxe s emissions from rice field with different rice varieties and the two fluxes from pot experiments with different soil water regime and ferti lizer treatment. The experiment results showed that: (1) The CH4 emiss ion rates were different among different varieties; (2) There was a tr ade-off between CH4 and N2O emissions from rice field with some agricu ltural practices; (3) We must consider the mitigation options comprehe nsively to mitigate CH4 and N2O emissions from rice fields.
