Abstract
Gastrointestinal tract emergencies in older infants include traumatic and nontraumatic conditions. The imaging evaluation of these condition s strongly affects diagnosis and management. This article provides a c linical overview and reviews the rationale for imaging and important i maging features of these gastrointestinal tract emergencies.
