Abstract
A study has been made of the etch track formation in LR-115 Type II po lymer which has been exposed to high doses of X-rays prior to alpha-ir radiation. The bulk etching rate increases exponentially with exposure and is found after exposure to 9 MR of X-rays to be three times that of an unexposed polymer. The. ratio V(T)/V(B) increases only slightly with exposure. The diameter of the track opening also increases expone ntially with exposure.
