Abstract
An experimental set-up was designed and calibrated for controlled expo sure of biological systems to radon atmospheres, in order to investiga te the effect of no lethal radon doses. Surface barrier detectors were used to measure the mean radon concentration and LR115 track detector s to asses local differences in alpha particle distribution on the bio logical systems.
