Abstract
The energy and angle dependence of the response of the previously deve loped CR-39 neutron dosemeter with air converter for the detection of albedo neutrons via the 14N(n,p) reaction has been further improved, a nd measurements extended to neutron energies up to 66 MeV. The reasona bly flat energy dependence of the dosemeter response from thermal up t o 45 MeV (factor of 3) allows a neutron dose determination by the elec trochemical etching of only one CR-39 detector. For.high-energy neutro ns, additional information is available by the evaluation of the inser ted Makrofol track detector.
