Abstract
A boundary element method for solving 1D transient convective-diffusio n equation with radiant heat flux and phase change moving interface is developed. An analytical solution is also obtained in the case of lin earizing radiant hear flux without being frozen, and there is excellen t agreement between numerical and analytical results. The boundary ele ment method is used ro analyze the frozen limitation of single pipe in CPL condenser; some valuable numerical results for engineering design are also given.
