Abstract
A new species of Asteromidium was found associated with a leaf spot di sease of Tabebuia impetiginosa in Brazil. The pathogen, described here as A. tabebuiae-impetiginosae sp. nov., is characterized by having su bepidermal, hypophyllous acervuli, and hyaline to olivaceous conidia, 44-57 x 2-3 mu m.
