CORTICOID SPECIES (BASIDEOMYCOTINA, APHYLLOPHORALES) FROM COLOMBIA COLLECTED BY LEAF RYVARDEN

Borryohypochnus verrucisporus, Lazulinospora wakefieldiae and Lindtner ia chordulata are reported for the first time from South America. The following new taxa are proposed: Botryohypochnus scaberulus, Hyphodont ia hastifer (only known from Argentina), Hyphodontia rudis, Hyphodonti a stratosa (typified with a specimen from. Africa), and Melzerodontia rasilis. Hyphodontia verecunda is proposed as a new combination with t he basionym Peniophora verecunda G. Cunn., and the genus Palifer Stalp ers and P.K. Buchanan is considered a synonym of Hyphodontia.
