G. Palborbely et al., RECRYSTALLIZATION OF MAGADIITE VARIETIES ISOMORPHICALLY SUBSTITUTED WITH ALUMINUM TO MFI AND MEL ZEOLITES, Microporous materials, 11(1-2), 1997, pp. 45-51
Magadiite varieties isomorphically substituted with aluminum and their
aluminosilicic acid derivatives retaining the framework topology of m
agadiite are recrystallized, after incorporation by ion exchange of fo
ur TPA and TEA ions, to MFI-and MEL-type zeolites, respectively. The r
ecrystallization degree and the size and shape of the zeolite crystall
ites formed can be controlled by the amount of template applied. Parti
al recrystallization results in products which promise to be advantage
ously applicable as catalysts because of the small crystallite size of
the zeolitic component. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
