C. Reig et al., FDTD ANALYSIS OF E-SECTORAL HORN ANTENNAS FOR BROAD-BAND APPLICATIONS, IEEE transactions on antennas and propagation, 45(10), 1997, pp. 1484-1487
The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is applied to study th
e performances of E-plane sectoral horn antennas designed for broad-ba
nd applications, These antennas have a large bandwidth, and they are e
asily array integrated, These antennas have a highly complicated geome
try that is modeled using a polygonal approximation in the curved boun
daries. Perfect matched layers (PML's) combined with first-order absor
bing boundaries are employed to simulate the free-space environment in
the FDTD mesh.
