Abstract
The regular <-> Mach reflection transition in steady flows was investi gated numerically using the W-modified Godunov's scheme. In addition t o the incident-shock-wave-angle-induced hysteresis, which was discover ed a few years ago and reconfirmed in the present study, a new downstr eam-pressure-induced hysteresis was found to exist.
