Abstract
The nucleoprotein (NP) gene of Sendai virus was detected by touchdown
nested reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) in the
lungs of a rat presented with respiratory illness and high serum ELIS
A titer to Sendai virus. This method seemed to be of value in controll
ing infection in laboratory rodents.
