Abstract
A study was performed to determine the levels of heavy metals pollutio n originated from the traffic of Nigde-Turkiye. Trace element contens of the soil samples collected from the five stations of Nigde City wer e determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometer. Relations betwee n metal contents and between number of vehicle and metal concentration s were calculated.
