Abstract
Five pentacyclic triterpenoid glycosyl esters have been isolated from the aerial parts of Rubus pileatus and three of them are new compounds . Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral data and c hemical transformations as 3 beta,19 alpha-dihydroxyurs-12-en-24,28-di oic acid-28-O-(6'-O-methyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyl) ester, 2 alpha,3 bet a,19 alpha-trihydroxyurs-12-en-24,28-dioic acid-28-O-(6'-O-methyl-beta -D-glucopyranosyl) ester and 2 alpha,3 beta,19 alpha-trihydroxyurs-12- en-24,28-dioic acid-28-O-(3'-O-methyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyl) ester.
