Abstract
The in vitro marginal fit of three all-ceramic crown systems (In-Ceram , Procera, and IFS Empress) was compared. All crown systems were signi ficantly different from each other at P = 0.05. In-Ceram exhibited the greatest marginal discrepancy (161 mu m), followed by Procera (83 mu m), and IFS Empress (63 mu m). There were no significant differences a mong the various stages of the clown fabrication: care fabrication, po rcelain veneering, and glazing. The facial and lingual margins exhibit ed significantly larger marginal discrepancies than the mesial and dis tal margins.
