A model-atmopshere analysis of the II-90 giant in the globular cluster
M 13 is made on high-dispersion spectra taken with the echelle-spectr
ometer at the 6-m telescope of the Special Astrophysical Observatory.
The abundances of 23 chemical elements are determined. The excess of s
odium, aluminium, silicon and titanium is found relative to iron-peak
elements. The overabundance of elements (La, Pr, Nd, Eu) synthesized m
ainly in reaction with high-density neutron flux is detected. The oxyg
en abundance is [O/Fe] = 0.07. Estimates are made of the lithium abund
ance.
