Abstract
We have investigated the reliability of the two analytical methods usu ally used to describe nonstoichiometry and related properties in ionic oxides: the ideal mass action law method introducing associates and t he Debye-Huckel theory. To do this, we have compared the results obtai ned by these two models with accurate Monte Carlo calculations.
