Abstract
Hydrogen and/or lithium insertion into hexagonal cesium tungsten bronz e, Cs0.3WO3, was studied using voltammetric and a.c. admittance method s. The close values of stoichiometric coefficients for hydrogen and/or lithium in coinsertion bronzes as well as the close values of diffusi on coefficients D-H and D-Li are ascribed to a lattice distortion caus ed by large cesium species which influence both equilibrium and the mo bility of inserting species regardless of their different chemical nat ure.
