Abstract
In this study, despite concomitant aspirin treatment, tirofiban, but n ot heparin, reduced platelet aggregation in patients with acute myocar dial ischemia. Platelet aggregation was determined with 2 independent methods, filtragometry and whole blood aggregometry.
