Abstract
A voltammetric method and homogeneous redox catalysis have been used t o determine rate constants for the electrode and solution electron tra nsfer to chlorobenzene and its formal potential in four aprotic solven ts. It has been shown that both reactions are adiabatic and are contro lled by the overdamped solvent relaxation.
