Abstract
Tetravalent titanium complexes containing the ethylene-linked bis(phen olato) ligand ebmp exhibit a C-2-symmetric conformation according to s ingle-crystal X-ray structural analyses. In solution, a fluxional proc ess equivalent to an enantiomerization is detected. Upon activation, w ith. methylaluminoxane, these complexes copolymerize ethylene and styr ene with remarkably high incorporation of styrene.
